What these texts have in common is the use of narrative, fictional and semi-literary techniques to strategically maneuver in supporting the feasibility of political change. It is a contribution to explain how an anti-regime writer paved the way to the Arab Spring in Egypt, and thus goes against a common opinion that the Arab Spring in Egypt was fortuitous or a wholly social-media-based movement. <br /><br />This monograph is an attempt to help argumentation theorists, linguists, analysts of narratives, and political scientists better understand and evaluate how fiction and narration can be effective means of persuasion in the domain of political communication. It therefore reconsiders the non-straightforward and artistic variants of the language of politics.<br /> 04 09 01 https://benjamins.com/covers/475/aic.16.png 04 03 01 https://benjamins.com/covers/475_jpg/9789027202383.jpg 04 03 01 https://benjamins.com/covers/475_tif/9789027202383.tif 06 09 01 https://benjamins.com/covers/1200_front/aic.16.hb.png 07 09 01 https://benjamins.com/covers/125/aic.16.png 25 09 01 https://benjamins.com/covers/1200_back/aic.16.hb.png 27 09 01 https://benjamins.com/covers/3d_web/aic.16.hb.png 10 01 JB code aic.16.for ix x 2 Miscellaneous 1 <TitleType>01</TitleType> <TitleText textformat="02">Foreword</TitleText> 10 01 JB code aic.16.c1 1 8 8 Chapter 2 <TitleType>01</TitleType> <TitleText textformat="02">Chapter&#160;1.
