The internet and glossary production for public service interpreters
The present paper aims to share some know-how and sources of information found useful for glossary production courses, addressing teachers and students alike. Drawing on my experience from systematic, professional “terminology” work and from teaching glossary production classes, I argue that developing small-scale glossaries in fields relevant to the interpreter’s work is both practically and personally rewarding. The paper also reflects experiences from workshop settings, such as the one organised for an international group of tutors and practising public service interpreters at the Stockholm Critical Link 4.
