As such, the contributions in Section 1 examine selected aspects of motivation in the continuum between lexicon and grammar; the contributions in Section 2 study the factors underlying the range of (semantic) variants that attach to a particular lexical item; and papers in Section 3 look at motivating factors in linguistic items situated in and conceptualizing the socio-cultural domain. A smaller set of papers in Section 4 point to the role which learner motivation and attitudinal motivation may play in applied linguistics domains. 01 00 03 01 01 D503 https://benjamins.com/covers/475/cilt.243.png 01 01 D502 https://benjamins.com/covers/475_jpg/9789027247551.jpg 01 01 D504 https://benjamins.com/covers/475_tif/9789027247551.tif 01 01 D503 https://benjamins.com/covers/1200_front/cilt.243.hb.png 01 01 D503 https://benjamins.com/covers/125/cilt.243.png 02 00 03 01 01 D503 https://benjamins.com/covers/1200_back/cilt.243.hb.png 03 00 03 01 01 D503 https://benjamins.com/covers/3d_web/cilt.243.hb.png 01 01 JB code cilt.243.01edi 06 10.1075/cilt.243.01edi vii Miscellaneous 1 01 04 Editors' foreword Editors' foreword 01 01 JB code cilt.243.02ack 06 10.1075/cilt.243.02ack viv Miscellaneous 2 01 04 Acknowledgments Acknowledgments 01 01 JB code cilt.243.03dir 06 10.1075/cilt.243.03dir xiii Miscellaneous 3 01 04 In search of conceptual structure In search of conceptual structure 01 04 Five milestones in the work of Guenter Radden Five milestones in the work of Günter Radden 1 A01 01 JB code 161028577 René Dirven Dirven, René René Dirven 01 01 JB code cilt.243.04sec 06 10.1075/cilt.243.04sec Section header 4 01 04 Section 1: Motivation in lexico-grammar Section 1: Motivation in lexico-grammar 01 01 JB code cilt.243.05lan 06 10.1075/cilt.243.05lan 3 26 24 Article 5 01 04 Extreme subjectification Extreme subjectification 01 04 English tense and modals English tense and modals 1 A01 01 JB code 464028578 Ronald W.
