Greatly expanding on the Hindi-oriented scope of previous studies, it describes and analyzes correlative constructions in a range of languages, such as Basque, Dutch, Hungarian, Polish, Sanskrit, Serbo-Croatian and Tibetan, in comparison to correlativization in Hindi. The articles zoom in on three areas of interest: firstly, the similarities and differences between correlatives and other wh- and relative constructions; secondly, the derivation of correlative constructions and the position correlative clauses occupy in the host clause and thirdly, the matching effects that characterize the pairings between relative phrases and demonstrative phrases. The studies presented here will appeal to researchers and students with an interest in syntax in general and relativization strategies in particular. 01 00 03 01 01 D503 https://benjamins.com/covers/475/lfab.1.png 01 01 D502 https://benjamins.com/covers/475_jpg/9789027208187.jpg 01 01 D504 https://benjamins.com/covers/475_tif/9789027208187.tif 01 01 D503 https://benjamins.com/covers/1200_front/lfab.1.hb.png 01 01 D503 https://benjamins.com/covers/125/lfab.1.png 02 00 03 01 01 D503 https://benjamins.com/covers/1200_back/lfab.1.hb.png 03 00 03 01 01 D503 https://benjamins.com/covers/3d_web/lfab.1.hb.png 01 01 JB code lfab.1.01pre 06 10.1075/lfab.1.01pre vii vii 1 Miscellaneous 1 01 04 Preface and acknowledgements Preface and acknowledgements 01 eng 01 01 JB code lfab.1.02lip 06 10.1075/lfab.1.02lip 1 46 46 Article 2 01 04 The landscape of correlatives: An empirical and analytical survey The landscape of correlatives: An empirical and analytical survey 1 A01 01 JB code 61104981 Anikó Lipták Lipták, Anikó Anikó Lipták 07 https://benjamins.com/catalog/persons/61104981 01 eng 01 01 JB code lfab.1.03par 06 10.1075/lfab.1.03par Section header 3 01 04 Part I.
