This volume is the third one of the revived series of Travaux, which was the well-known international book series of the classical Prague Linguistic Circle, published in the years 1929-39. The tradition of the Circle still attracts attention in broad circles of European and American linguistics.
05
Comprehensive in subjects and thought-provoking in analysis, this volume makes a rewarding reading. It is a worthy farewell gift to the twentieth century wich witnessed the birth, development and achievements of the Circle, whose tradition, far from being a closed chapter in the history of linguistic thought, has remained an inexhaustable source of inspiration and has been vigorously extended far and wide.
Jun Qian
05
The volume is topically very rich and should appeal to a wide readership. The papers are short and to the point, and the volume is attractive and well-edited.
