'Immerhin' is used to locate the assertion of a sentence on a scale of expectation. To say 'immerhin p' implies that the speaker had an initial high expectation which is not fully satisfied. This does not, however, mean that his expectations have been totally disappointed. They have 'at least' (immerhin) come true to some extent.
