A general book on semantics based on the idea of a universal mental language. It includes chapters on certain lexical domains, on tenses, on coordination, and on the semantics of speech acts (in particular of the 'ignorative', i.e. questions, relative clauses, indefinites, particles and conjunctions, and exclamations).
