A general treatment of the syntax, semantics, and pragmatics of questions in German (including questions of sentence-type and illocutionary type, indirect questions, erotetically used interrogatives, rhetorical questions, and other matters of form and function of questions), and an attempt at developing a Montague grammar for questions in a fragment of German.
