Annotation
Analysis of conversation, focusing on the cognitive processes enabling human beings to engage in a conversation. The authors propose a computational model of how utterances in a conversation are actually generated and understood by cognitive systems. The model focuses on the representational abilities and on the types of knowledge structures which are necessary for a cognitive system to engage in a conversation.
