Analysis of educational conversations in literary works, more specifically in H.J. Chr. von Grimmelhausen's 'Der Abenteurliche Simplicissimus Teutsch'. Three research goals are pursued: (a) to analyze the specific characteristics of this kind of conversation, and its functions with regard to the literary work it occurs in, (b) a comparative analysis between this excerpt and Wolfram von Essenbach's 'Parzival', and (c) to compare literary educational conversations with real-world educational conversations.
