Annotation
B. reports on the Kiel research project on forms of address across different languages. Besides aspects of address theory and methodological considerations concerning the project, two topics of address in interlingual perspective are discussed: the meaning of a form of address, and address inversion. With an extensive presentation of the results from Portuguese and Georgian, and a survey of the results from Norwegian and Jordanian Arabic.
