Annotation

It is assumed that argumentation is not only a matter of content, but also of linguistic form: what matters in argumentation is not only what is said. In this paper, the authors define the different kinds of linguistic devices whose use in argumentative discourse appears to be of particular importance, and propose a way of investigating the psychological functioning of these devices.
