F. outlines and discusses some of the working parts of a grammatical framework that attributes great importance to the notion of 'grammatical construction'. The latter encompasses 'any syntactic pattern which is assigned one or more conventional functions in a language, together with whatever is linguistically conventionalized about its contribution to the meaning or use of structures containing it.
