Annotation

Adjustments of referring expressions in conversations with L1 and L2 speakers are analyzed. Lexical entrainment is observed in both L1 and L2 speaker dyads, while evaluations of the idiomatic expressions by both subject groups provide support for the principle of Least Collaborative Effort.
