Annotation

An examination of the impact of U.S. English-only language policies on ethnic minorities in the U.S., with a special focus on the Latino population. Attitudes towards English-only policies indicate that Latino Americans are very supportive of non-English services. However, the author emphasizes that issues of economic and social inequality outweigh problems related to language policies.
