Language as a subject
This study deals with a specific area of anaphora, viz. the factors determining the choice between a pronoun and a full NP in contexts where this is not governed by syntactic constraints. Furthermore it deals with one type of discourse, i.e. spontaneous conversation and the analysis has been restricted to English.
