Annotation

The author proposes and integrated view of two general aspects of L2-acquisition, i.e. strategic creativity and natural constraint. The aim of this paper is to discuss some aspects of this interface within the domain of L2 phonology acquisition. Data are drawn from a larger study of learner solutions in the early stages of adult L2-acquisition in which German learners of Swedish are investigated.
