In this article, Pêcheux presents three stages of discourse analysis: DA-1 as a methodological exploitation of the notion of structural discursive machinery; DA-2 from juxtaposition of discursive processes to the thematization of their uneven intrication; DA-3 as emergence of new DA-procedures through the deconstruction of discursive machineries.
