Annotation
Results of the analysis of rhetorical relations in a set of English and Spanish dialogues, show that spoken language is suitable of a rhetorical structure analysis. There was no significant difference between the English and the Spanish data in terms of staging or type of relations, only the length of the initialization and closing stages of the dialogues tended to be longer in Spanish.
