Annotation

On argumentation theory as developed by Anscombre and Ducrot. The dynamics of the so-called topoï are explored and a catastrophe-theoretic account of the topical fields is outlined in order to overcome the problem of tackling the argumentative aspect of meaning in purely formal terms.
