A qualitative analysis of audio-recorded interviews conducted in Wales and New Zealand, focusing on the discursive expression of attitudes towards the health implications of bodily exposure to the sun. Despite the varying responses, it is concluded that people often dismiss health promotional discourses, despite their risk awareness.
