Annotation

Following a theoretical overview of how children manage communication, a longitudinal case study illustrates the range of interactional means (e.g. length of utterances, use of onomatopoeia, communicative gestures) a child must learn in order to contribute contextually relevant communications. This development is exemplified by the use of linguistic feedback.
