Annotation

In light of the definition of metaphor as conceptual domain-mapping, two different models of metaphor comprehension are described: the 'domain-as-a-schema' model, and the 'domain-as-a-taxonomic category' model. Seeing that both models are insufficient, an alternative 'hybrid model' of metaphor comprehension is proposed.
