Annotation

A comparison of male and female bargaining strategies in eastern Morocco. It is noted that bargaining is perceived as a negative politeness act. It was found that while men tend to depreciate the vendor's goods, women rely on direct and insisting bargaining strategies. The social implications of these findings are drawn.
