Annotation

Two intonational rises in Turkish and German bilingual child language are found, one is typical of German intonation, the other is characteristic of Turkish intonation. However, these rises display non-normative patterns for both languages. It is argued that this anomaly can be attributed to language contact, while fusion may account for the bidirectional language influence.
