On the relationship between self-narrative ability in patients with Alzheimer's disease and social context. Remembering is seen as a social process in which the context of interaction plays a central role. The chapters are concerned with narrative well-formedness and ill-formedness, discourse (dis)continuity, longitudinal aspects of self-narrative ability, and assessment strategies.
