In this revised version of the 1979 edition, the original contributors updated their work and some new chapters were added, as e.g. the one by Gentner and Jeziorski, containing a fascinating account of the alchemical quest in terms of analogy and metaphor, and by Lakoff, providing an update of his stance on the conceptual structure model.
