Annotation
This collection comprises cross-linguistic research on narrative development in various multilingual settings in the world. In a state of the art introduction the editors present a summary of conducted research on bilingual narrative development. Three main sections each with a different geographical focus follow this: bilingual narrative construction in Northern Europe; bilingual narrative development in Western Europe; and bilingual narrative development outside of Europe. Finally the volume closes with a cross-linguistic perspective on narrative development in multilingual contexts by Ruth Berman.
