Harrah, David. 1985. Logic for rational dialogue. In Franck, Dorothea. Sentences in conversational turns: A case of syntactic `double bind'. In : 233–245. : 125–133.
Annotation
The author addresses the problem of how to develop a logic for dialogue, a system that can be used by a rational person for analyzing, evaluation, and guiding behavior in dialogue. Further, he is concerned with the theory of good dialogues, the theory of why, for a rational person, one dialogue may be preferable to another.
