Analysis of information on atomic damage in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, as reported in the Japanese national daily, the `Asahi Shimbun'. During three short, consecutive periods this information was (a) censored by the Japanese authorities, (b) virtually free from censorship, and (c) censored by the occupation authorities.
