Annotation

Next to the existing distinction between factive, non-factive and implicative verbs, the authors propose a further distinction of two classes: factive-implicative and non-factive-implicative verbs, whose implicativeness or factiveness depend on considerations of the psychological state of the person, the world's state, and the person's power or lack thereof to change that world's state.
