Annotation

The term `voices' refers to ways of representing events, objects, dilemmas, and so forth in speech and thinking. In this paper, W. outlines a theoretical approach for the study of this issue, and discusses a concrete realization of a voice: the voice of decontextualized rationality, the emergence of which is associated with the Enlightenment, and the use of which continues to be an issue today with regard to phenomena such as gender differences in moral reasoning.
