The articles in this volume use a humanistic linguistics-approach to address fields neglected by scientific analyses of language. The four sections deal with: humanistic approaches to linguistic analysis; the nature and use of language and linguistic theory; the relationship among poetry, linguistic analysis, and language teaching; and the relationship between language learning and teaching.
