[nog een tekentje op de oss !!!!] Characterizing the semantic and grammatical nature of the Korean suffix 'oss' from a discourse-pragmatic, historical and linguistic perspective, L. argues that various associated meanings such as past tense or perfect(ive) aspect are in fact contextual interpretations, derived from an invariant grammatical meaning 'anterior'.
