This volume contains recorded (Polynesian) Tokelau texts including formal speeches, stories about weaving and fishing, a traditional tale and songs and dances. Whilst the linguists H. and V. concentrate on the grammatical and structural aspects of the texts, Hoëm concentrates on the semantic and communicative aspects.
