This book reports an evaluation of a pilot project to promote the teaching of immigrant community languages -in casu Italian, Punjabi and Urdu- in British secondary schools. Its aims were to explore the introduction of these languages in the secondary curriculum, to produce material adapted to local situations and to allow the exchange of ideas on assessment and methodology.
