Annotation

This paper describes informational and utterance-framing resources incorporated by lecturers in science classrooms whilst taking about different types of images drawn on a blackboard or projected onto a screen. The discussed key resources are body orientation, gesture and spatial position of a speaker with respect to inscription and audience. The integration of these local resources, intended to explain to the audience what the talk is about, involves a lamination of frames.
