Annotation

This study of the use of English (as compared to Spanish) discourse markers in bilingual New York Puerto Ricans' Spanish-language oral narratives of personal experience, considers whether these markers can be identified as code-switching or borrowing instances, and explores how the usage and frequency of integration varies in accordance with language proficiency.
