Annotation

This book on how the brain works and how it has developed, is divided into six sections. The first section discusses the proposed approach which rejects the existence of a reciprocal relationship between physical and mental events. Section two deals with the nature and the functioning of nerves. Section three investigates what it means 'to see'. Section IV examines language and the brain. The fifth section concerns the memory and emotions and the sixth explores philosophers and the philosophy of the mind.
