An investigation of the properties of complex semantic information processing involved in the comprehension, re-production and summarizing of longer narrative discourse. In the theoretical part the focus is on the phenomenon of the 'macro-structure', the empirical part exists of a report on seven preliminary experiments to test the theoretical predictions.
