Annotation
This study deals with intergenerational Quichua-Spanish speaking practices and children's play dialogues in the Ecuadorian sierra community of San Antonio, in the light of the language shift from Quichua-Spanish bilingualism to Spanish monolingualism. Generational language choices appear to be linked to different ideologies or notions of ethnicity.
