Annotation

This article distinguishes two major applause eliciting factors in speeches by Israeli, Palestinian, American and Russian leaders, held at the occasion of the 1993 Israël-PLO accord: utterances related to major themes, such as 'peace', 'courage', 'gratitude' and/or a tempo change, usually a speech rate slowdown.
