The author engages in a highly original discourse on living in a postmodern world of diversity adjoining ambiguity and chaos, characterized by the prevalence of mass media communication. Unlike others, he considers the media's impact as a positive fact which indirectly contributes to diminish the impact of the metaphysics of rationalism and he introduces the notion of 'limited rationality'.
