This book aims at providing a complete account of research in second language acquisition (SLA), i.e. an account that doesn't focus on Universal Grammar or cognitive approaches. The three target groups are second/foreign language teachers, researchers in need of a reference work that deals with all SLA-disciplines, and beginners in the study of SLA.
