Annotation

This paper examines linguistic ideologies and evaluations of German in the local bilingual community of the German-Hungarian town of Bóly. The evaluations of the minority language emerge from local images of the town's history and experiences and from a recontextualization of the German-Hungarian opposition to a pan-European one.
