This paper explores syntactic and semantic features of Moroccan broadcast news in Modern Standard Arabic. It analyzes morphosyntactic news language patterns and linguistic preferences and the influence of French and English on the latter as well as semantic aspects such as code-mixing, word borrowing and lexical expansion.
