This book contributes to the social psychology of ethnicity in Israeli society. The various sections: explain neighborhoods, religion and friendship networks; discuss identities and images as defined by ethnic and class consciousness and the intersection of all parameters; demonstrate that the impact of stratification is related to voting, discrimination and assimilation or solidarity; and explore social cleavages among Israeli Jews and between Jews and Arabs.
