This study, which tests the Communication Accommodation Theory, compares the influence of (non)accommodative interactant behavior, social status as a student or lecturer and ethnic group bias, on evaluations of power and solidarity in interaction.The findings show the complexity and the importance of the context on reactions to communication accommodation.
