This contrastive study of Polish-English linguistic sexism deals with the following topics: the concordance between sex-reference form and sex gender; the (sexist) masculine generic; gender diffferences in the American address system; sexism in foreign language teaching materials; and the inferior status of women in general as expressed through language.
