Annotation

This paper criticizes standards in emotion research for frequently underrating and misunderstanding linguistic semantics. It also criticizes standards in some linguistic semantics approaches for failing to take into account word polysemy and to distinguish between two types of secondary word uses, i.e. active online extensions and conventionalized secondary meanings. It furthermore offes some conventional body part descriptions of emotions in Lao.
